I managed at GK Design, as project lead, the complete overhaul of the Yamaha corporate identity for the North American market.

 

The design team, after an extensive research and many work sessions with the Yamaha management and product teams, developed an all new identity design and strategy, covering all Yamaha North American divisions: motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, water vehicle, marine engines, accessories and racing.

 

The design challenge included creating a complete identity system containing color, graphic design, application and evolution strategies, and the execution on each appropriate product.

 

As the design team created a progressive identity, GK Design followed every year with the soft changes, making the Yamaha corporate identity a trend setter in the industry.
